Computer Service Company

heavily on technology. If you are like most

select your computer services company very
carefully using the following criteria to
minimize your frustrations and downtime.
Company must have
certified technicians
Make sure the technician
working on your computer or network has the
training and experience to fix what is wrong
without causing other problems. Several
certifications to look for are:
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
requires 6 core exams, 1 elective and 1 design
exam showing expertise in Microsoft technology
and platforms.
CompTIA Network+ demonstrates knowledge
and skills needed to install, configure and
troubleshoot basic networking hardware,
protocols and services.
CompTIA A+ demonstrates the ability to
perform PC repair and trouble shoot PC problems.
Add several years of professional experience to
the certifications and you have a very qualified
technician.
Company must
respond in a timely manner
You need service and you need it now! Check
companies to see what their service levels are
for response times. Do they have within 2
hours, 4 hours, same day or next day service?
What about 24/7 response? Determine your
requirements and select a company that can meet
those requirements. However, be aware that
faster and off-hour responses can cost you more.
Company must be
honest and have integrity.
The easiest way to check out a company with
regards to honesty and integrity is to ask for
